Gathering with Shanghai Hakumon Kai

On October 21, 2018, Chuo University’s President, Tadahiko Fukuhara and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Kazuo Kashiyama attended the “Inauguration Ceremony of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and University Presidents’ Forum” in Shanghai, and joined Chuo University alumni, members of the “Shanghai Hakumon Kai,” for a social gathering.

Shanghai Hakumon Kai is Chuo’s largest overseas alumni association, with 130 members. A number of Chuo alumni are active in Shanghai, the center of the Asian economy. At the gathering, President Fukuhara expressed his gratitude to the members of Shanghai Hakumon Kai for their continuing support for the efforts of Chuo University, and information was shared on Chuo’s updates.
