Chuo’s 135th Commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 on the Korakuen Campus.

Date: Saturday, March 24, 2018
Time: 13:00 pm to 14:00 pm
Venue: Korakuen Campus, Building No.5, 4th Floor, arena
Building No.5, 1st Floor (indoor viewing location on campus)

Participating Faculty and Graduate School:
Faculty of Science and Engineering; Graduate School of Science and Engineering

Schedule of Events:
・Graduates should arrive by 12:30 pm
・12:50 pm – Commencement Music begins
・13:00 pm – Commencement Ceremony begins
・University Song
・Diploma Ceremony
・Commencement Speech: Chancellor and President
・Commencement Speech: Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering and Graduate School of Science and Engineering
・Commencement Speech: Chief Executive Regent and Chair of the Board of Regents
・Commencement Speech: Alumnus
・University Song – Sekibetsu-no-uta
・14:00 pm – Commencement Ceremony concludes

* There is no on-campus parking available on Commencement day. We highly recommend that you use public transportation.
* Large crowds are expected so please follow the directions of the event staff. So that more guests can be seated, please move to middle of each row and fill all seats. Your cooperation is highly appreciated.
* Please note that guests would view the ceremony in the indoor viewing location when guest seats in the Commencement site are fully occupied.
* A live webcast will be available through Chuo University’s homepage on Commencement day.
