We will see you at Office of International Center, Tama Campus at 13:00 on Sep.11.
Access to Chuo Tama Campus is available at the website below.
The first orientation session will be held on September 11, from 13:30pm.
Please come to the International Center, Chuo at 13:20pm at latest. All new exchange students are expected to attend orientation sessions.
Please bring the following materials:
-Residence Card *You will receive it at the arriving airport.
-A copy of JLPT certificate
*Only students who has updated JLPT certificate after you submitted the certificate as
an application document.

Reminder about the health insurance
Please be aware that all international students who stay in Japan more than 3 months are required to register National Health Insurance in Japan, no matter what kind of insurance you have in your home country. The monthly cost is about 1,000 yen. We will inform you further details at the orientation.
If you consider about part-time job
If you are thinking about getting part-time job while in Japan, you need to get a "Permission to engage in an activity other than that permitted under the resident status (資格外活動許可書) ".You can apply the permission at the airport when you first arrive to Japan. Please find the required document in the welcome package.
You can also apply it after you arrive in Japan, but applying it at the arriving airport is the easiest way.

Please refer to the following examples to fill in the visa application form, which you will be asked to submit when you apply for a student visa at a local Japanese Embassy/Consulate.

2018/8/6 Arrival Form

This "Arrival Form" is to confirm your arrival at Chuo.

2018/8/6 Pre-Registration Request Form for Japanese Law Courses (Fall /2018）
*Deadline: August 19, 2018 5pm (JST) The form will be closed automatically.
The course registration at Chuo is required to be completed about 10 days after each semester starts.
However, pre-registration is also required for the following 6 courses of Japanese law courses (offered in English).
Please read the syllabus on the website below, and apply for the courses you wish to take through this
web application form.

2018/7/24 Welcome package-1
International Center starts sending out the "Welcome Package" which is including following documents
to your home university (except French students). *French students will receive individually.
Please confirm if everything in order as soon as you receive the package.

2018/6/26 Housing Application For Exchange Students (Fall/2018)
This Housing Application is for expected exchange studnets who applied for our exchange program Fall 2018.
Please read "2018 Fall Chuo accommodation information (PDF)"
carefully and fill out Housing Application from.
The application deadline is 5pm JST (Japan Standard Time) on July 5, 2018,
and it will be automatically closed at the time of deadline.
The session will be disconnected in 20 minutes for security reasons.
Late applications will not be considered.
