On December 1st, 2014, Chuo University signed an agreement with Thammasat University of Thailand to open an overseas hub office.
This is the second overseas hub that Chuo has opened after the establishment of the Chuo Pacific Office located at University of Hawaii at Manoa.
To commemorate this event, there will be an opening ceremony planned on March 21, 2015 in Thailand.

Chuo University, Tokyo, Japan, will officially open its overseas hub office at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 21, 2015
Chuo University is currently focusing on developing a stronger organizational structure, a more solid educational foundation, and more robust domestic and overseas networks in the Asia-Pacific region. Recently, as part of its ongoing International Initiatives, Chuo also opened an overseas hub office at Thammasat University in Thailand, on December 1st 2014. The Chuo-Thammasat Collaboration Center is the University’s second overseas hub office following its first located at the University of Hawaii, Manoa, which opened in December 2013.
In recent years Chuo University has been promoting a variety of student and academic exchanges in Thailand. The new Chuo-Thammasat Collaboration Center will enable us to further develop our strong educational, academic, and social ties in Thailand. To commemorate this special occasion, we will hold an Opening Ceremony and Symposium at Thammasat University (details below).
