The Times Higher Education Alma Mater Index: Global Executives 2013 was released on September 5 to rank institutions by the number of degrees they have awarded to the CEOs of Fortune Global 500 companies. This is the first time the Times Higher Education, known for its annual World University Ranking, released a ranking based on the number of executive alumni in global companies.
Chuo University was ranked 27th. Following first place Harvard University, Tokyo University ranked second.
