Australian Embassy visits Chuo

On, Friday, May 23, 2014, Counsellor Paul Harris and Senior Education Manager Kumiko Tsukamoto of the Australian Embassy in Japan, visited Chuo University Tama Campus.
Chuo University has kept strong relations with the Australian Embassy, including the dinner reception held in November 2013 for Counsellor Scott Evans responsible for scholarship programs in North Asia; the April 7, 2014 Ceremony for the New Colombo Plan; Japan-Australia Educational Roundtable meeting; and the April 28 meeting at the Australian Embassy.
Both parties discussed and exchanged views on specific topics including the academic support for the Chuo SEND Program (program to teach Japanese overseas), overseas program for the Law Faculty, student activities in the Peace Seminar, and promotion for accepting students based on the New Colombo Plan.
