and the Men’s Team Foil
The 2018 Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships were held in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates from February 24 to March 4, 2018.
Three students from the Chuo University Fencing Club participated in the Championships, and left with a spectacular result. Yudai Nagano (1st year student in the Faculty of Law) won gold in the Men’s Individual Foil and the Men’s Team Foil, Akira Komata (2nd year student in the Faculty of Law) won bronze in the Men’s Individual Epee and won silver in the Men’s Team Epee, and Yuto Watanabe (2nd year student in the Faculty of Commerce) placed fifth in the Men’s Individual Sabre and won bronze in the Men’s Team Sabre.
