Cancelled. Students first learn regional characteristics of flood disasters in relation to interactions among water, land and people. Then, students receive explanations about the flood control measures using river facilities and the flood control and water use capacity of forests, and consider basin development, flood disasters, subsequent implementation of corrective measures and future tasks by examining typical post-war examples. Finally, students consider the results of recent examinations of global warming adaptation measures in the flood disaster field and large flood disaster reduction measures.
