Research unit for medical application of fNIRS-based assessment of ADHD children     @@@@@@

Outline

period

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most prevalent developmental disorders, becoming clinically evident at early elementary school years. For diagnosing ADHD, and objectively assessing efficacy of medication for ADHD, we utilize functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), and explore its application in actual medical use in hospital environment, with special emphasis on developing neurobiomarker to represent drug-induced functional recovery of cognitive functions of ADHD children.
