Research Unit on Creation of Catalytic Reactions for Advanced Low Carbon Society

The aim of the present research group is development of new catalytic reactions which will be able to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide. The reactions are expected to be employed as next-generation industrial processes in chemistry. Raw materials of the new chemical industry will be lignocellulose or shale gases including natural gases and, therefore, our study was focused on the reactions of catalytic conversions of lignocellulose, selective formation of lower olefins from ethane or bio-ethanol, and plasma-assisted production of ammonia.
